I love Jacqueline Briggs Martin's Snowflake Bentley (Houghton, 1998) -- now Wilson A. Bentley's story and his love of snowflakes can be paired with The Story of Snow by Mark Cassino (photographer) with Jon Nelson, Ph.D. (Chronicle, 2009). Cassino's photography is inspired.
