Newbery - Caldecott Jackdaw

Literary Jackdaw

A literary jackdaw is a collection of items about a single book, character, or topic. Like the jackdaw, a crow-like scavenging bird, a literary jackdaw includes a collection of items scavenged to present an allusion to elements connected to the theme of the jackdaw.  These items are placed in a box, or other container.  Sometimes the container is actually an item that pertains to the theme of the jackdaw.
This jackdaw contains an item to represent the 2013 Newbery and Caldecott winners and honor books— ten items in total.

A Jackdaw Challenge
