Iowa Author Wins Sterling North Award for Children's Literature
Jacqueline Briggs Martin, author of /Snowflake Bentley/, /On Sand Island/, /Chicken Joy on Redbean Road/, /Banjo Granny/ and other books will accept this award in person on October 4, 2008
The 2008 Sterling North Award for Excellence in Children's Literature will be awarded to Jacqueline Briggs Martin at 4 pm Saturday, Oct. 4, at the Edgerton Sterling North Book and Film Festival in Edgerton, Wisconsin.
