And while the three authors do not share their birthday with Dr. Seuss they do share their birthday with ME and this cookie jar is a great "cake" to have filled with chocolate chip oatmeal cookies to share all day long.
So Happy Birthday to all of four of us!

by Diane De Groat

Just a Dream
by Chris Van Allsburg
We just got done celebrating my son's 10th birthday where he collected money for "Nothing But Nets." What's interesting is that for my children, it's not a question of IF they are going to collect donations for a greater cause, but WHO they are going to try and help. Not sure that there is a book out there that shares this idea...may need to write it. :-)
Hope that your special day was filled with many wonderful memories...just what birthdays should be!
Blessings-
Lara
