Jamie Gilson - Chess and Gingerbread (No Tofu Really)

Jamie Gilson's latest book (2008) is Chess, I Love It, I Love It, I Love It. But one of my favorites remains a title from 1981, Can't Catch Me, I'm the Gingerbread Man.  In that book it would seem that there would be some gingerbread but the food connections I find are:

  • p. 44- trail mix
  • p. 61 - Snack
  • p. 181 Banana Tofu -- a recipe for Banana Tofu includes -- 3 frozen bananas, 6 oz. tofu, 1  tablespoon honey, 2 tablespoons peanut butter, a pinch of nutmeg, 1/4 cup cold milk.  Blend in a blender until smooth and creamy.
Food sells books and almost anything else.  Advertise books like the junk food producers advertise their junk food.  Become the best public relations person there is --  Readers are Leaders -- Read to Succeed.
